WELCOME TO ICCMS
Inter-Faculty Center for Coordinating the Modular Systems (ICCMS) is the center that managing and providing all the academic support services for students who are registered in the faculty of Humanities and the faculty of Social Sciences. It is established in 2002. Former directors of ICCMS are Professor Sarath Amunugama, Professor A.A.D. Amarasekara, Ven. Dr. Dodamkumbure Dhammadassi Thero and Dr. (Mrs.) Namali Suraweera. DR. K. M. L. M. Manjula Gunaratne is the director of ICCMS since 2023.
ICCMS handles over 2600 students and 1900 course units in the Faculty of Humanities and over 3500 students and 900 course units in the Faculty of Social Sciences, in each academic year, and also handles 27 Honours Degree programs from the Faculty of Humanities and 17 Honours Degree programs from the Faculty of Social Sciences. In addition to that, the subjects offering for the students in the faculty of Humanities and the faculty of Social Sciences alike Computer Studies, Statistics and Computer Science, Operational Research and Information Technology, Zoology, Botany and Mathematics from the Faculty of Science and, Human Resource Management from the Faculty of Commerce and Management are also handling by ICCMS.
The main duties of ICCMS are academic registrations, preparing lecture and examination time tables, special degree selections, processing examination admissions, final result processing, issuing academic records for internal students and publishing exam results over internet etc...
ICCMS is located in K3-017 at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
